HOLIDAY SHIPPING INFO

WHEN DO I NEED TO ORDER BY TO ENSURE MY GIFT ARRIVES IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS?

It’s the season for gift giving and we want to help you receive your gifts in plenty of time for the holidays.
For customized orders, orders should be placed no later than November 30th 11:59pm CT for delivery by December 24th. Customized products ship within 1–3 weeks.
For standard non-customized orders, orders should be placed no later than December 19th 11:59am CT for delivery by December 24th. Non-customized products ship within 1–5 business days. You can also send your non-customized gifts with a message directly to the recipient by selecting “Include a Gift Message” during check out.
Please note: We’ll do our best to ensure orders placed by these dates arrive in time for holiday giving. Although we make every effort to deliver your gifts as soon as reasonably practicable, there may be delays and we strongly encourage you to place your orders as early as possible. All holiday shipping cut offs, delivery timelines, or estimated delivery dates are only estimates, are subject to change and may have certain limitations or exclusions listed in our terms & conditions and shipping policy below. Smithsons Store does not represent or warrant that it will be able to ship your gift by these estimated dates. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, a member of our customer service team will contact you.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

We want to get you your Smithsons® as soon as possible. That’s why we make every effort to process your order quickly so you can put your Smithsons Store gear to good use sooner. Smithsons Store offers free UPS Ground shipping on qualified orders $50.00 and up shipped in the contiguous United States only. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are available via UPS SurePost or UPS Ground at an extra charge. We do not ship to US territories outside of the contiguous United States (*U.S. Territories include American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, North Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

All services are provided by UPS. Premium and Express orders should be placed by 12:00 PM CT for quickest delivery. Expedited orders placed after 12:00 PM CT will require an additional business day for processing. All shipping estimates are based on business days, excluding weekends and holidays. All “Delivery by” dates are estimates and not guaranteed. UPS shipping delays due to weather, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events cannot be foreseen and may increase delivery timeframe. Shipping services and rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Reminder: All customized products will require additional processing time.

SHIPPING OPTIONS & RATES

The following shipping options are available to you, but may be limited by product purchased or your local delivery options. UPS expedited options may not be available in all areas. Note that we are not currently offering expedited shipping on any of our customized products, and customized products are not currently eligible to be shipped via SurePost to AK, HI, PO Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses.

Ground – Contiguous U.S. orders $50.00 and up
Ground – Contiguous U.S. orders under $50.00
Premium – Contiguous U.S. orders selecting Premium service at checkout
Express – Contiguous U.S. orders selecting Express service at checkout
UPS Sure Post – Orders to Alaska and Hawaii $50.00 and up
Ground – Orders to Alaska and Hawaii
UPS Sure Post – Orders to P.O. Boxes $50.00 and up
UPS Sure Post – Orders to P.O. Boxes under $50.00
UPS Sure Post – Orders to APO and FPO military addresses $50.00 and up
UPS Sure Post – Orders to APO and FPO military addresses under $50.00

Please note: Smithsons orders weighing 500 lb or greater may be converted from a parcel delivery service to a palletized ‘Less than Truckload’ (LTL) delivery. Customers will be contacted by the LTL carrier to schedule a delivery. During peak shipping seasons, the weight threshold may vary based upon parcel network constraints.

Also please note that all Smithsons Store Tundra, Hopper, Roadie, LoadOut, and Panga boxes ship with “Smithsons” written on all sides of the box.

SHIPPING HOLIDAYS

Smithsons Store and UPS will not be shipping or delivering on the following dates in 2022. Please note shipping estimates will begin the following business day.

  • New Year’s Day – January 1, 2022
  • Easter Sunday – April 17, 2022
  • Memorial Day – May 30, 2022
  • Independence Day – July 4, 2022
  • Labor Day – September 5, 2022
  • Thanksgiving Day – November 24, 2022
  • Christmas Day – December 25, 2022
  • New Year’s Day – January 1, 2023

CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES

Smithsons Store uses UPS Ground service on all shipments within the contiguous United States unless otherwise noted or an expedited option is selected by the customer. Please allow 1–7 business days for processing and an additional 1–4 business days for your order to arrive based on your location and products ordered. Look for a shipment tracking number via email when your order has been processed. 

SHIPPING TO A PO BOX

Smithsons Store ships UPS Ground within the continental U.S. & Alaska & Hawaii. We offer UPS SurePost option if you wish to ship to a PO Box. Please select UPS SurePost as your shipping option in checkout. Not all products are eligible to ship to a PO Box, including the Tundra 250 and Tundra 350.

ALASKA AND HAWAII

Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are available to be shipped via UPS SurePost or UPS Ground. UPS SurePost is free for orders $50.00 and up and will arrive within 18-45 business days due to the distance. Orders under $50.00 will incur a $10.00 shipping charge. To get your package within 3-5 business days, UPS Ground is available for $15.00, and may incur an additional shipping charge based on weight or insured value of the package. If that happens, we’ll inform you of the new shipping charge before processing your order. Look for a shipment tracking number via email when your order has been processed. 

Promotional shipping (e.g., free shipping) is only applied to orders shipped within the contiguous United States and does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska.

OUR RETURN POLICY

We want to be sure you’re as happy with your SmithsonsStore products as we are. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we offer free returns for a refund within 60 days of your purchase, provided it has not been customized, is unused and is still in its original packaging. For promotional orders, returns must include any promotional items from the original transaction, otherwise the value of the promotional items will be deducted from the amount refunded. For products purchased from an authorized dealer, their return policy applies — please contact them directly for. more information
Promotional shipping (e.g., free shipping) is only applied to orders shipped within the contiguous United States and does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska.

INS AND OUTS OF THE SMITHSONS STORE RETURN POLICY

To be eligible for a free return, the following criteria must be met:

  • All returns must be related to a Smithsons order. Smithsons Store does not offer returns on items purchased outside of Smithsons
  • All returns must be processed through our Returns portal within 60 days of original purchase. Once approved, a pre-paid shipping label will be provided. Smithsons Store does not currently accept returns at our Smithsons Store retail stores.
  • Any shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable
  • Any additional return shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • All merchandise must be unused and undamaged and returned in its original packaging.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed. Times may increase during peak holiday periods. Refunds will be returned to the original form of payment. Smithsons Store does not offer store credit or gift cards for returned products. Smithsons Store does not accept returns on customized product.

For exchanges, please return your item(s) for a full refund and replace an order on Smithsons for the correct item.

Smithsons Store does not price match with dealers or competitors.

Any approved warranty exchanges must be requested separately through our Warranty Form and will be provided with a prepaid shipping label for the return of your eligible Smithsons Store product.

SHIPPING YOUR RETURN

We recommend the following guidelines when shipping your return:

  • Pack your item securely to ensure there is no damage to the returned product during transit.
  • You may use the original product packaging or your own. Please make sure any reference to old tracking numbers is completely removed.
  • Insert any related paperwork inside your box. This can include your RMA # or original order number.
  • Securely attach your return label to the package.
  • Ship your return based on the shipping label provided. We recommend retaining a copy of your drop-off receipt for your records.

If you choose to use your own shipper, please include original order information or the return RMA number inside the box. We recommend selecting a service that allows for package tracking and keeping the tracking number for your records. Any additional return shipping costs are non-refundable.
